Indian Ocean is a pioneering Indian folk fusion band that has been making waves in the music industry for over three decades.

Known for their unique blend of Indian traditional music with rock, jazz, and other genres, they have created a unique voice. Since their formation in 1990, the band has been at the forefront of the Indian music scene, constantly pushing boundaries and breaking new ground.

Career Highlights

• Wrapped up a 10+ city India tour, promoting their upcoming album “Tu Hai” across the country.
• Released a new Album “Tu Hai” on 5th May.
• Composed music for “Babasaheb- The Grand Musical”- A majestic series of musical plays organized by the Government of Delhi.
• Composed music for many iconic films over the years including Black Friday (2004) and Masaan (2015).
• Their last studio album ‘Tandanu’ (2014) included collaborations with artists like Vishal Dadlani, Shankar Mahadevan, Shubha Mudgal and Karsh Kale to name a few. 
• “Leaving Home – The Life and Music of Indian Ocean” directed by Jaideep Varma made history when it became the first full-length documentary film about a band that was released nationally in theatres.
