Anoushka Maskey
Anoushka Maskey is a singer-songwriter, based in Sikkim/Mumbai, India. With roots set in folk music and a fondness for storytelling, she identifies as a lyrics-first musician.
She launched her career in 2020 with the release of two back to back EP’s – Things I Saw in a Dream (August 2020) and C.E.A.S.E (September 2020) followed by her singles September Embers (December 2020) & Empire of Fear (April 2021).
Career Highlights
- Featured on Ballantine’s Glassware True Music’s India leg. Where she is being mentored by professionals like Ankur Tewari.
- Opened for Prateek Kuhad on the 2021 winter tour.
- Performed at NMACC earlier this year.
- Wrote and Sung “A New Dawn” with Kartik Shah for the Netflix India AV for their 2021 series slate announcement.
- Nominated under “Best debut artist of 2020” for The Indian Music Diaries awards 2021.
